Guidelines for Appropriate Attire
Religious places: When visiting a mosques/churches/mandir or religious place, both men and women should dress modestly. Men should wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves, while women must cover their arms, legs, chest, and hair with a headscarf. Clothing should be opaque and non-revealing, with shorts and transparent fabrics prohibited. Additionally, any visible tattoos should be covered.
Beaches: Wear light, breathable clothes, swimwear, and comfy shoes. Be sure to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.
